Role: FullStack Developer (Part Time CTO)
Rubix.io is seeking an experienced full-stack developer to take on the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this position, you will provide technical leadership to transition an ongoing developer-led project into a market-ready product.
As part of the Rubix C-Level team, alongside an accomplished CEO, CMO, and COO, you will play a pivotal role in devising and executing a Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy tailored for the Latin American market. We are looking for an individual who embodies professionalism, strategic thinking, and robust business acumen. Flexibility in tackling challenges that may arise during the journey, especially when deviations from the original plan occur, is essential.
This opportunity is designed for an experienced full-stack developer looking to transition into a CTO role, while also welcoming ambitious CTOs with strong full-stack skills who are seeking a platform to grow.
Compensation:
This CTO position is entirely remote, requiring a consistent commitment of 25 hours per workweek.
The selected candidate will be engaged under a part-time (25 hours per week) contract with a monthly salary ranging from $6,000 to $8,000, commensurate with their experience.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the existing platform and app to identify specific needs.
- Develop the company’s strategy for leveraging technological resources.
- Identify opportunities for technological innovation to gain a competitive advantage.
- Assess and implement new systems and infrastructure.
- Create and execute a roadmap to advance the company’s technology toward its goals.
- Take ownership of the development of system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.
- Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch.
- Analyze data to optimize operations.
- Document the technical strategy and platform.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and IT budgets to evaluate technological performance.
- Ensure efficient, profitable, and secure use of technologies.
- Establish quality assurance and data protection processes.
- Actively contribute to technology development.
- Lead the technology team.
- Manage relationships with technical partners.
- Effectively communicate technology solutions to peers, stakeholders, and the public.
- Ensure data and privacy safety.
- Oversee the maintenance process.
- Actively participate in team meetings and internal communications.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proficiency in blockchain architecture, smart contracts, and application development software.
- Proven work experience of at least 3 years in the crypto, blockchain, or fintech industry.
- A track record of 3+ years in project, product, or team management.
- The ability to conduct technological analyses and research.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in strategic thinking and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
