Job Description:
ChainSafe is in search of a driven Developer Relations professional to serve as the representative for ChainSafe Gaming.
We firmly believe that immersive experiences and active community engagement will drive the next phase of growth in the gaming sector. The perfect candidate will bring a background in software product development, with a strong focus on enhancing the developer user experience and fostering valuable relationships.
Responsibilities:
Building Relationships
- Establish and nurture connections with key figures in the gaming industry, including developers, publishers, and partners.
- Identify strategic opportunities and partnerships that align with ChainSafe’s mission and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop growth strategies and expand the community.
Content Creation
- Produce technical content for various purposes, such as video tutorials, blog posts, interviews (in collaboration with Gaming PMs), and crafting surveys related to community engagement and growth metrics.
- Provide technical expertise to support the communications and marketing teams as needed.
Documentation
- Assist the Gaming community by creating clear written documentation and generating educational materials and engagement initiatives.
- Review, amend, and enhance existing software documentation.
Community Engagement
- Offer mentoring, assistance, and guidance to the Gaming developer ecosystem and its online communities (e.g., Discord, Twitter).
- Participate in both online and offline events (e.g., meetups, hackathons, conferences) to engage with the community.
- Actively gather feedback from the Gaming ecosystem of developers and extended community, reporting insights to the team for ongoing product enhancements.
Ecosystem-Centric Feedback
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the entire web3 ecosystem and collaborate with Gaming PMs to inform the product’s market-fit.
- Establish an engagement repository and create bi-weekly reports.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an engineer or Developer Relations professional in a similar interoperability protocol setting.
- Demonstrated expertise and engagement in relevant platforms (e.g., Discord, Stack Overflow, Reddit, Medium, Dev.to) as proof of your knowledge.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending programming languages, as well as working with various technologies within our stack. Examples:
- Proficiency in Unity and C#.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage various projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer relations, marketing, and communication.
- Deep understanding of industry trends and the alignment of products with market demand.
- Enthusiasm for distributed systems and the transformative potential of web3 technology.
Nice to have:
- Background in engineering.
- Experience in the development, deployment, or maintenance of web3 applications and open-source protocols.
- Prior experience in the interoperability field.

Hiring Process
- Selected candidates will receive an invitation for a 30-45 minute screening call with one of our technical recruiters.
- Following that, candidates will have a 30-45 minute values interview with one of our team members.
- Subsequently, candidates will be given a technical task to complete within 4 hours, with a maximum of 5 business days allowed for completion.
- Finally, candidates will be invited to a 60-minute interview with members of the hiring team.
