About the position:

We are in search of a Senior Systems Engineer, a pivotal role tasked with the management and improvement of our SaaS platforms and identity and access management infrastructure. Additionally, this role encompasses the provision of tier 3 support to address intricate technical challenges. The individual who thrives in this role will bear the responsibility of crafting, executing, and upholding systems and services, all the while upholding the utmost standards of availability, performance, and security.

Roles:

  1. Deploying and upkeeping identity and access management systems like Okta and JumpCloud.
  2. Managing SaaS-based platforms, which include Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Notion, GitHub, and more.
  3. Supervising fundamental network infrastructure components, such as domain name management and DNS.
  4. Participating in the formulation and execution of IT policies and protocols.
  5. Addressing operational and cybersecurity needs throughout the organization.
  6. Delivering tier 3 support to the company while also providing training and guidance to fellow IT personnel.
  7. Acting as an intermediary between departments to gather business requirements and needs.
  8. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies, and assessing potential collaborations with third-party entities to identify, create, and put into action enhancements for operational and functional aspects of business systems.

Qualification:

  1. A minimum of 8 years of experience in a systems engineer or equivalent capacity.
  2. Experience working in globally diverse organizations.
  3. Proficiency with various operating systems, including Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
  4. Strong scripting abilities, encompassing PowerShell and Bash.
  5. Familiarity with automation tools like Zapier, IFTT, and n8n.
  6. Knowledge of ITIL and the capability to implement and manage services according to its framework.
  7. Understanding of the zero trust model, as well as ISO 27001 and SOC2 certification.
  8. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Additional skills:

  1. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  2. Background in virtualization or containerization technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).
  3. Interest in or familiarity with Web3, Blockchain, and Crypto.
