Your Scope of Work
At iYield, we are pioneering the realm of crypto financial planning. While conventional crypto portfolio trackers provide insight into the value of your digital assets, iYield goes a step further. We consider not only your crypto holdings but also your debts, income, and expenses, ultimately presenting your true net worth and savings rate by amalgamating crypto and fiat currencies. This invaluable tool empowers our users to gain control over their finances, make informed decisions, and work toward financial independence.

Your Responsibilities:
As a Frontend Developer, your primary role involves the creation and upkeep of all frontend elements within the iYield ecosystem, including the application, content management system (CMS), emails, and more. Frontend Developers are expected to possess advanced skills in frontend development and actively contribute to the following:
- Constructing user-facing websites utilizing React.
- Collaborating closely with Backend Developers to conceptualize and design GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Working in tandem with designers to bring outstanding user interfaces and experiences to life.
- Deploying applications to AWS using AWS CDK.
Frontend Developers will operate within a collaborative environment, employing the following practices to deliver software that is dependable and sustainable:
- Conducting code reviews to maintain code quality.
- Implementing automated testing procedures.
- Managing continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Documenting relevant aspects of the software.
Furthermore, Frontend Developers are expected to:
- Contribute to the design of system architecture.
- Uphold the security of all system components by adhering to best practices in information security.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Exceptional proficiency in React.
- Exceptional proficiency in HTML and CSS.
- Exceptional proficiency in both unit and integration testing.
- Strong command of Git and experience in collaborative software development.
- Proven experience in interfacing with backend APIs.
- Passionate cryptocurrency enthusiast.
- Residency within the GMT +/-0 to GMT +10 timezone range (encompassing Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia).
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Next.js.
- Familiarity with Material-UI (MUI).
- Familiarity with headless Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Proficiency in configuring and utilizing monitoring tools like Sentry.
- Expertise in OAuth2/OIDC for authentication and authorization.
- Competence in infrastructure as code.
- Experience with both REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Proficiency in constructing backend applications.
