The Role

The News Writer produces high-quality daily news reporting related to Bitcoin and relevant US and world news. The ideal candidate will have a sense of urgency in completing news stories before competing publications, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. The role requires a combination of excellent writing and editing skills, with a proven track record in the field. Experience and writing samples are a must.

Your Responsibilities

Write and edit high-quality daily news reporting related to Bitcoin news events and relevant US and world news.
Ensure timely publication of news stories to maintain a competitive edge.
Maintain a consistent tone and style that aligns with the publication’s voice.
Conduct thorough research to provide in-depth and accurate analysis.
Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm and develop compelling content ideas.
Work closely with other writers, editors, and contributors to ensure the highest standards of content quality.
Research and help write scripts for the Bitcoin Daily Show hosted by Dante Cook.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Bitcoin and economics.
Engage with the Bitcoin community and industry experts to gather insights and perspectives.

Skills and Experience That Will Help You Succeed

Proven experience as a writer and editor, with a portfolio of published work.
Strong understanding of Bitcoin, economics, finance, geopolitics, etc.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality content quickly.
Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fully distributed team environment.
Passion for Bitcoin and a deep understanding of its principles and community.
