Role Description

As the Community Manager at Perion, you will oversee the complete journey of community members.

In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in expanding and engaging the Perion Discord Community and the Perion Twitter Community. Within the Discord community, you’ll also drive our token holders to participate in DAO votes and proposals.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you’ll contribute to achieving the company’s growth targets. Your role is pivotal in converting curious Web3 individuals into committed, active holders. Additionally, you’ll manage and have the opportunity to expand a team of community moderators to assist in reaching your objectives.

The community team’s responsibility is to deliver a seamless end-to-end experience for new DAO members (PERC holders), from onboarding to activating these holders for DAO activities.

You’ll also provide support to members by developing support systems and collaborating with team members to provide accurate responses to our members.

Furthermore, the Community Manager will maintain our community platform (Discord), handling the onboarding of new Discord members and activating users to explore the DAO.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a community strategy.
• Implement community growth and engagement strategies in collaboration with the marketing and product teams.
• Lead and supervise a team of community moderators, including resource allocation, scheduling, performance oversight, and feedback provision.
• Enhance the user experience within our current community platform (Discord).
• Identify actionable community insights and identify market opportunities for other team members.
• Oversee the setup of Discord channels, permissions, bots, and security measures.
• Monitor, analyze, and provide reports on community and campaign performance, proposing initiatives for improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies to drive community growth and engagement.
• Plan and execute community events, both online and in person.
• Develop a partnerships and collaboration plan to engage with other communities in the Web3 gaming space.
• Organize consistent community events and activities to engage the community and DAO members.
• Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in the field, planning to implement them to accelerate the growth of the PerionDAO community.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Web3 community building
• Experience in building and managing Discords
• Experience leading a team of moderators
• Crypto-native mindset—immersed in community and Web3
• Strong grasp of community platforms, engagement strategies, and analytics.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
• Track record of growing and scaling a community
• Sound understanding of blockchain and Web3
• Independent problem-solving mindset
