About the Role

As OAK Network embarks on its mission to establish a layer-1 for on-chain automation and become the cross-chain automation infrastructure for web3, we are seeking a talented individual to join our blockchain development team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in building new modules and defining blockchain APIs for dapp developers. Your responsibilities will span architectural design, hands-on development, and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and construct computationally efficient data structures for automation primitives.
• Define and develop APIs to enable other developers to build dapps.
• Optimize and uphold the blockchain codebase in Rust.
• Programmatically measure and analyze blockchain performance.
• Produce high-quality product design documentation.
• Primarily collaborate on the OAK blockchain repository.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Rust development experience (minimum 2 years).
• 4+ years of professional experience in shipping products as a backend/full-stack developer.
• Strong aptitude in high-performance system design.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Experience with large distributed systems is advantageous.
• Bonus points for expertise in QA, performance optimization, and tuning.
