Director of Operations Role:

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead the creation, improvement, and implementation of new operational processes across various areas, including:
- Organizational Planning and Structuring: Collaborate on optimizing efficiency and effectiveness through organizational planning and structuring.
- Process Improvement: Define and enhance operational processes to elevate overall business performance.
- HR/People Operations: Implement systems for employee recordkeeping, onboarding, hiring, benefits management, performance evaluation, offboarding, and team bonding events.
- Financial Operations: Manage budgeting, vendor relationships, burn rates, financial reporting, liaise with accounting providers, and ensure timely regulatory filings.
- Commercial Operations: Uphold best practices for contracting with vendors and clients, overseeing document management.
- Blockchain and Crypto Compliance: Stay informed on regulatory changes in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space, ensuring compliance with evolving legal requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Passion for the mission of creating decentralized, private financial infrastructure.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in overseeing various aspects of an organization.
- Aptitude for applied analytical thinking, comfortable with financials.
- Strong, effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse work environment with excellent follow-through.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple assignments, take initiative, and work independently.
- Team player with a “no task is too small” attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to up-skill and improve knowledge in the crypto space.
- Self-organized in a remote-first work environment.
- Time zone: US ET-PT.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working for startups, particularly blockchain companies.
- Experience closely collaborating with treasury, accounting, and legal teams.
- Knowledge of Asana and project management skills.
Benefits:
For candidates in the United States, this role offers an annual starting salary range of $130,000 – $155,000 plus equity and benefits, including:
