About the Role: Frontend Engineer
As a Frontend Engineer at Consensys, you will be a self-starter and creative thinker, driven to push the boundaries of technological innovation. Responsible for managing development tasks from assignment to production, you’ll navigate large code bases while minimizing technical debt. A strong understanding of modern Javascript, proficiency in React, Next.js & Vercel, and experience in building and maintaining design systems are essential. Advocacy for writing well-tested, scalable, and performant code, along with ownership of engineering best practices, will contribute to the success of this role.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of frontend engineering experience.
- Solid understanding of modern Javascript/Typescript.
- Proficiency in React, Next.js & Vercel.
- Experience in building and maintaining design systems.
- Familiarity with web accessibility guidelines.
- Advocate for well-tested, scalable, and performant code.
- Ownership of engineering best practices and operational excellence.
- Awareness of monitoring & observability best practices.
- Experience collaborating with design, QA, and product teams.
- Belief in our mission and values.
Bonus Points:
- Experience and/or interest in cryptography.
- Understanding of the Blockchain and Ethereum ecosystem, with curiosity to learn more.
- MetaMask/Infura user!
