What You Will Be Doing

Your responsibilities will involve developing and sustaining scalable backend services aimed at enhancing the security and user experience for MetaMask users as they access web3.

Preferred Qualifications:

For a Strong Fit:

• Over 5 years of proven experience as a Backend Software Engineer, contributing to production applications.
• Proficient in Node.js for backend development, preferably with Typescript.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
• Track record of successful collaboration in agile projects within an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
• Adaptability to effectively work in a distributed, remote team setup.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Based in the Americas or available to work during U.S. business hours.

Bonus Points for Expertise in:

• Leadership experience as a Team Lead or Tech Lead.
• Proficiency in Typescript and/or the NestJS framework.
• Exposure to microservices architectures.
• Understanding of blockchain technology, particularly Ethereum.
