About the Role:
- We are seeking a Security Engineer to become part of our expanding global FinTech enterprise.
- We are on the lookout for an open-minded, enthusiastic, analytical, and hardworking individual with a genuine interest in cryptocurrencies and the blockchain ecosystem.
- As a member of our IOVLabs Security Team, your role will entail researching attack and defense techniques, and creating innovative tools to automate detection and response activities.
- You will work in close collaboration with our internal development teams and ecosystem members to forge new capabilities aimed at bolstering the security of the public peer-to-peer network, its users, and the company’s infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Engaged In:
- You will actively participate in product design phases, scrutinizing requirements and proposing secure, inventive, and alternative solutions.
- Conduct source code audits and security reviews of pull requests.
- Identify vulnerabilities, construct Proof of Concepts (PoC), and contribute to the remediation process.
- Investigate vulnerabilities and attack methods.
- Engage with internal teams and contribute to the secure design of fresh products and features.
Your Qualifications:
- You possess 5+ years of work experience as an Application Security Engineer or Security Researcher.
- You have proven experience in conducting source code security audits, practicing threat modeling, and executing architectural security reviews.
- Proficiency in recognizing and mitigating common security vulnerabilities within code.
- Familiarity with various attack vectors and the tactics employed to exploit vulnerabilities.
- You are well-acquainted with the software development life cycle and possess the capacity to integrate security measures into the process.
- Basic knowledge of cryptography.
- Familiarity with Blockchain.
- Proficiency in coding using Solidity, Javascript, and React.
- Previous experience in conducting vulnerability research.
- A comprehensive grasp of application security principles, including threat modeling and risk assessment.
- A strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and their integration into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Proficiency in English.

- A proven track record of discovering intricate vulnerabilities in software.
- Engagement in Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions. Involvement in public presentations, research initiatives, root cause analysis, and more.
