About the Role
Join us at the foundational stage of scaling Tensor for the next million traders. You’ll help design incentives, drive growth, and monitor for malicious activity.
You will:
- Collaborate with product and engineering on Tensor’s incentive programs
- Conduct data-driven growth experiments
- Optimize our apps for the best consumer experience, including building recommendation models
- Analyze transaction data to detect anomalies and malicious behavior
You are:
- Passionate about web3/crypto – this is essential as you’ll be joining a team of web3 enthusiasts
- A generalist with 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, and ML
- Proficient in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python, R)
- Experienced with standard data science libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodel)
- Knowledgeable about statistical tests and their appropriate applications
- Skilled in designing and executing A/B experiments
Bonus points for:
- Experience in data engineering – writing and/or interacting with data pipelines
- Experience with consumer products that have scaled to millions of users
- Knowledge of data storage technologies, understanding which to use and why
- Good intuition on when to move fast and break things versus when to proceed carefully

Location
We’re remote-first. The founders are based in NYC/Toronto, and you’re welcome to join us there, but it’s not required.
