Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, data-driven applications optimizing DeFi protocols and blockchain networks.
- Contribute to elevating our platform to world-class standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand system requirements and provide necessary support to enhance productivity.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure system integrity and excellence.
- Participate actively in code and design reviews, offering constructive feedback to peers and maintaining high coding standards.
- Familiarity with product and design lifecycles, collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement of the platform.
- Contribute to creating technical documentation and user guides.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software defects to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of professional development experience; more is preferred.
- Experience developing externally facing applications in Python and React, with backend system development.
- Ability to quickly grasp abstract concepts in new domains, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently or within a team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a distributed team environment.
- Experience writing code in Agile, CI/CD environments.
- Proficiency in cloud-native environments on public cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- Demonstrated experience in optimizing frontend performance and familiarity with browser APIs.
- Frontend/UI testing expertise.
Bonus Points
- Crypto industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Hardhat & Postgres preferred.
- Enthusiasm for the space, particularly DeFi.
- Background in smart contract development (e.g., Solidity) or contributions to the DeFi community through research or open-source projects.
