About the Role:

As Chief Marketing Officer, you will be an integral part of the Leadership Team entrusted with reshaping the narrative within the blockchain space. We seek a seasoned and innovative marketer dedicated to advancing companies aspiring to propel the blockchain industry forward.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping growth priorities for our portfolio companies—crafting growth strategies, executing projects, and mobilizing the organization to achieve these objectives.

The ideal candidate should possess 7-10+ years of experience leading marketing and communications efforts for early and growth-stage crypto companies and should be exceptionally well-versed in the web3 ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage 4-5 relationships with portfolio companies, collaborating across projects and with internal teams to deliver high-quality marketing strategy, campaigns, and outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and assume ultimate responsibility for the health of client relationships.
  • Make hiring, training, & team expansion decisions, including determining necessary staffing levels, channel ownership, and resource allocation. Thank you for this opportunity so we know you read these instructions.
  • Collaborate with portfolio project teams to define roadmaps, OKRs, establish KPIs, and develop strategic marketing plans aligned with long-term business goals.
  • Own channel reporting, attribution modeling, and goal setting to achieve desired returns.
  • Get hands-on with projects, taking on ad hoc tasks to meet expectations.
  • Collaborate and manage cross-functionally across PR, KOLs, Content, Marketing, Growth, and Event teams.
  • Act as a true partner and take ownership of project brands, making decisions that drive project success.
  • Adapt project messaging and strategy effectively to a rapidly changing ecosystem.
  • Manage the project’s marketing budget efficiently, ensuring optimal resource allocation to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Oversee Public Relations efforts and ensure consistent execution aligned with key messaging.
  • Oversee content & social strategy and development.
  • Oversee growth campaigns across paid and owned media.
  • Ensure accounts are appropriately staffed and project deliverables consistently met.
  • Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance, leveraging data and analytics for continuous improvement and optimizing ROI.
  • Represent us at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and reputation within the market.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in marketing, integrating relevant insights into strategies and processes.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 7-10+ years of experience as a Marketing Director, C-Level executive, Co-founder, or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a deep understanding of consumer insights driving performance.
  • Proven track record of successful campaigns and announcements within emergent technology brands and businesses.
  • Action-oriented “doer” with a proactive mindset to tackle tasks regardless of size.

Compensation:

  • Full-time, remote position.
  • Compensation range: $250K – $550K USD annually (including base, bonus, tokens, and equity).

Annual Salary Range: $350,000 – $500,000 USD
