Position Overview

Our forward-thinking Bitcoin mining company leads the charge in the cryptocurrency revolution. As part of our expansion, we’re in search of a highly skilled and motivated Remote Operations Manager to oversee our unmanned mining sites and lead a small but dynamic team. This role is pivotal for maintaining optimal operations at our mining facilities and ensuring seamless collaboration between vendors and internal teams.

The salary range for this position is between $60,000 – $70,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Unmanned Site Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of our unmanned bitcoin mining sites, ensuring efficient and effective 24/7 operation.
• Team Leadership: Manage a small, dedicated team by organizing schedules, structuring the team, and setting clear, achievable goals.
• Vendor Management: Cultivate strong relationships with vendors, ensuring procurement of high-quality equipment and services, and coordinate effectively between vendors and internal teams.
• Internal Collaboration: Act as a pivotal communication link between various internal teams to ensure alignment and common goals.
• Issue Resolution: Proactively address operational problems and implement solutions promptly in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Foresight and Planning: Anticipate potential future problems and develop strategic plans to mitigate risks.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of mining, networking, power distribution, and data center environments to oversee and enhance mining operations.
• Process Development: Develop and implement robust processes and procedures to optimize operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in managing operations, preferably in mining, data centers, or related fields.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
• Excellent vendor management and internal team collaboration abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to foresee potential issues.
• Deep understanding of mining, networking, power distribution, and data center operations.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational processes and procedures.
