About the Role

Our Management Trainee Program begins with the Ecosystem & Listing team and subsequently extends to other departments based on your career aspirations and interests within CoinMarketCap.

Job Description

• Collaborate with the listings team to elevate the quality, breadth, and depth of content on CoinMarketCap.
• Proactively analyze and scout for high-quality projects to generate leads.
• Synthesize and compile relevant project information for entry into the Zendesk workflow.
• Provide support to the listings team on ad-hoc projects.
• Analyze market trends to identify cutting-edge tokens and blockchain projects.
• Monitor news and developments on tokens on the CMC platform and evaluate their eligibility to remain listed.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Advanced Degree or certification (MBA, CFA) is advantageous.
• Deep understanding of technical and advanced cryptocurrency concepts, including swaps, protocols, dApps, and exchange operations.
• Proficiency in analytics and spreadsheet software (e.g., VBA, VLOOKUP, IF statements) and presentation of data sets using SQL.
• Organized, resourceful, with a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while maintaining strict attention to detail and ownership.
• In-depth knowledge and relevant experience in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, including a strong grasp of trends and tokenomics.
• Experience with a support ticket system (ZenDesk, FreshDesk, etc.).

Bonus

• Knowledge of financial markets and data (e.g., APIs).
• Experience with using cryptocurrency exchanges.
