Position: Head of Design

As the Head of Design for Polygon Labs, you will be instrumental in defining the visual identity, user experience, and overall design strategy of the company. Leading a team of talented designers, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver high-quality creative output.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead a team of designers, fostering a design culture aligned with the boldness of the Web3 space.
• Manage stakeholders, ensuring alignment with team progress, initiatives, and goals.
• Develop a compelling visual identity, design system, and brand collateral for Polygon Labs interfaces and ecosystem initiatives.
• Ensure design consistency with established standards in all deliverables.
• Create wireframes, mocks, and interactive prototypes to define optimal solutions.
• Humanize Polygon protocols through intuitive and user-friendly technical diagrams.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to produce visuals for campaigns, presentations, and social media.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and accessibility guidelines.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of design experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in Web3.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX and branding experience in the Web3 space.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping software.
• Solid knowledge of blockchain, Polygon technology, and the broader Web3 ecosystem.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, globally distributed team environment.
