Senior Mobile Engineer:

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our PolygonID team and contribute to the development of our mobile product suite. This role plays a key part in addressing digital identity challenges. Working closely with top professionals in the identity field worldwide, you will have a unique opportunity for learning and growth within Polygon, a leading Web3 company. Reporting to a Director of Engineering, this role offers a chance to make a substantial impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for the development and maintenance of the mobile stack.
• Design and implement robust architectures connecting low-level libraries, blockchain platforms, mobile SDKs/apps, and dApps.
• Develop high-quality, performant, modern, clean, and readable code within set deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, product, support, and business development, contributing valuable ideas to our product roadmap and goals.
• Engage in the research and implementation of core identity libraries, exploring novel mobile UX approaches.
• Transform ideas and designs from our design and product teams into exceptional user experiences.
• Exhibit passion for blockchain, digital identity, privacy, and decentralization.

A Day in the Life:

• Develop Dart (Flutter), Kotlin, Swift code for our mobile SDKs and apps.
• Interact with identity libraries (written in C++, Go, JS) used by our mobile code.
• Collaborate with Product, Backend, Frontend, QA, Support, and Solution Engineering teams for product delivery, maintenance, and improvement.
• Work closely with mobile teammates on daily activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in Swift for developing mobile native apps.
• Experience in developing mobile native apps with Kotlin and/or Flutter.
• Familiarity with React Native is a plus.
• Experience in developing blockchain-based applications (dApps) is advantageous.
• 3-5 years of experience in designing and implementing quality apps, with a portfolio for presentation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.
• Passion for identity, privacy, and decentralization.
• Knowledge of Ethereum blockchain is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
