Your Responsibilities
- Deliver top-notch work across the entire product design workflow, from synthesizing user research to creating wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity visual designs, and motion elements.
- Contribute to the development of Gnosis Pay’s design system.
- Plan, conduct, and synthesize user research to enhance clarity and comprehension, paving the way for meaningful solutions.
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless design handoff, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of designs and components.
- Define user interactions and experiences through user flows, information architecture, mockups, and relevant diagrams and maps.
- Construct functional prototypes to validate and test your designs and facilitate team discussions.
- Articulate your design choices, providing insights into the underlying rationale and design process.
- Contribute to shaping our design culture. You’ll have the opportunity to help establish the foundation of the product design practice at Gnosis Pay, defining our work methods and what constitutes design excellence.

Experienced: You come with a proven track record of crafting thoughtful, enjoyable, and user-friendly responsive and/or mobile-first experiences that users adore (and you’ve got an impressive portfolio to showcase your talent).
A master craftsperson with an unwavering eye for detail: You’re invigorated by hands-on work—whether it’s sketching out concepts, defining user flows, creating prototypes, or refining UI elements. You’re equally comfortable tackling intricate processes, designing visually captivating interfaces, weaving stories through animations, and handling the entire spectrum of design aspects essential for our work. The devil is not in the details for you; in fact, you thrive on them.
Data-savvy and a strategic thinker: Your design choices and recommendations are deeply grounded in solid evidence. Beyond design, you possess a holistic and strategic mindset, always keeping the broader product vision in mind.
Humble, yet opinionated: We appreciate bright minds brimming with ideas, but we also value your openness to feedback and your willingness to let go of your opinions when a superior approach presents itself.
Confidently independent: You’re a self-starter who can navigate through ambiguity and see a task through from inception to completion with minimal supervision.

Requirements:
- Solid design skills complemented by exceptional aesthetics
- Outstanding grasp of accessibility principles
- Proven history of crafting functional and aesthetically pleasing experiences that users cherish
- Proficiency in developing and contributing to design systems
- Evident grasp of systems thinking
- Clear and articulate communication of ideas and design choices
- Expertise in Figma at a master level
- Capability to effectively communicate design concepts through high-fidelity mockups and prototypes
- Hands-on experience in developing mobile apps for consumers
- A humble and ego-free approach
Desirable:
- Knowledge of blockchain-based applications and a deep understanding of fundamental crypto concepts, including wallets, tokens, smart contracts, and trustless transactions.
- Familiarity with the payments industry or financial technology
- Proficiency in React, Javascript, and HTML/CSS coding, and a track record of using Github and Storybook is a significant advantage.
- Experience with motion design tools such as Rive, LottieLabs, or After Effects
- Proficiency in 3D software like Spline or Blender
- Experience in creating branding and identity systems
- Background in working for an early-stage company (seed or series A) where you contributed to its growth and played a role in taking it from 0 to 1.
