Currently, we are in search of a seasoned, well-rounded, and highly motivated Financial Controller to join our dynamic team at B2C2 USA Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong accounting background, a deep understanding of GAAP compliance, expertise in regulatory reporting, and a solid track record in managing accounting operations. As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the financial well-being and integrity of our firm, all while ensuring strict adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the accurate application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) across all financial activities.
  2. Ensure that financial processes adhere to the rules and regulations of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance.
  3. Conduct research and implement changes in accounting standards to maintain compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
  4. Supervise the preparation, review, and submission of all regulatory and compliance reports.
  5. Stay current with alterations in regulatory requirements and promptly incorporate adjustments into reporting.
  6. Coordinate activities with external auditors to support the annual audit process.
  7. Take charge of implementing quarterly tax planning and compliance efforts.
  8. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, encompassing responsibilities such as accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
  9. Review and authorize journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
  10. Provide critical financial information to management and the Executive Committee (EXCO) to support informed decision-making.
  11. Spearhead the preparation of budgeting and forecasting processes.
  12. Fulfill any additional ad hoc duties as required to meet the evolving needs of the business.
  13. Cultivate and sustain effective relationships with team members across the globe, including senior management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required. An advanced degree is considered a plus.
  • Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

  • A deep understanding of GAAP principles and their practical application.
  • Demonstrated experience in regulatory reporting within the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
