About Mon Studios
Mon Studios is an independent game development company that specializes in creating nostalgic games, which are enjoyed by a large player base across mobile, web, and PC platforms. These games offer players the unique opportunity to own their in-game items and trade them within open marketplaces. The gameplay experience seamlessly combines both onchain and offchain elements.
We are currently seeking a full-stack engineer with expertise in several key areas. This includes the ability to craft intuitive UI components using React, seamlessly integrate external web3 components and APIs, and then proficiently implement the “back-end of the front-end” using Typescript. We are looking for an engineer who possesses a keen ability to anticipate and address potential challenges and intricacies within seemingly straightforward features. You should approach coding and testing with the same level of precision and care as if it were a matter of utmost importance, like a loved one’s life-support system.
Responsibilities:
- Incorporate external libraries and SDKs related to marketplaces, non-custodial wallets, payments, and other functionalities.
- Develop code for visually engaging frontend components and implement backend functions to manage the entire operational process.
- Your Pull Requests (PRs) should demonstrate a comprehensive grasp of the entire problem.
- Game development experience is not required; your responsibilities will solely revolve around web3 components.
What We Seek:
- A minimum of 2 years of React experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with Typescript and Node.
- Prior experience in a rapidly growing technology startup.
- We have a strong focus on continuous code delivery, so we are seeking an individual with a proven track record of high productivity.
