Job Description: Senior Developer for Swan’s Mobile App

Swan is seeking an experienced senior developer to join our team and work on Swan’s mobile application, which is focused on enhancing the Bitcoiner journey with a lightning wallet. Our app is built on Flutter, which means we’re developing for both iOS and Android at the same time. Thus, familiarity with both platforms is crucial. Though having experience with Flutter is a significant advantage, if you have previously worked with React Native, you can quickly learn our technology stack.

We need a developer who is passionate about delivering a seamless user experience to our customers. While previous experience with wallet development would be fantastic, we value deep expertise in Bitcoin more.

This is a fully remote position, and we provide flexible working hours and vacations. As most of our mobile team members are based in the eastern hemisphere, we appreciate a bit of flexibility in scheduling meetings to accommodate time zones.

Skills and experience that will help you succeed:

We are looking for a seasoned professional who has extensive experience working with iOS, Android, and either Flutter or React Native.
Additionally, we are seeking an individual who possesses excellent communication skills and a desire to take ownership and lead a product from conception to execution.
It is essential that this individual has a solid understanding of the principles of code organization and modularization.
Furthermore, we require that the candidate has successfully shipped at least one application to the Android or iOS app stores, which they can showcase to us.
The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, where they will have significant input into the product and a lot of responsibility.
We are not a crypto or blockchain company, but we do require that the individual has a genuine passion for Bitcoin as a world-changing monetary innovation.
It is not a requirement that the candidate has previous experience in blockchain or cryptocurrency. Instead, we are committed to onboarding individuals who share our passion for Bitcoin and are excited to join our team.
